OREGON: CYCLING, WINE & NATIONAL PARKS
Check out my former trip:
Nothing prepared me for the WOW factor I experienced at every level! “Oregrown” says it all, as just about everything is grown and sourced locally – from incredible wines, to local beers with brewery tours and tastings galore, to spectacular coffee and coffee shops on every corner. Foodies will be delighted by all the state has to offer! I pulled together a group of dear friends for a week of cycling in the stunning Cascade mountains. We made our way from Bend to Crater Lake to Sisters all the while taking in the stunning mountains, lakes, and deserts in between.
ATACAMA: ADVENTURE TO THE HIGHEST & DRIEST DESERT IN THE WORLD
Check out my former trip:
The San Pedro de Atacama oasis, in the middle of the driest desert in the world, has an altitudinal peculiarity: it is situated at 8,200 feet above sea level, making the Atacama not only the driest, but also the highest desert on earth. For this reason, the year-round climate is pleasant and the transparency of light is unique. The outlandish geography of volcanoes, salt flats and high-altitude wetlands, has an unparalleled appeal. But the oasis of San Pedro is simply an introduction. It is the last area where human life is possible; where a visitor can still be harbored.
